The Austin PRIDE Rainbow Run is a 5K (3.1 miles) "fun run" through the streets of downtown!

To celebrate Austin PRIDE 2013's "LOVE UNITES" theme, this year's Rainbow Run will literally PAINT THE TOWN RED!... and Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple!

As participants cross the finish line, they will have the option to enter a RAINBOW EXPLOSION where they will be covered head to toe with "Rainbow Magic" colored powder*! After the race, runners will be able to show their pride with the best post-5k party in Austin featuring music, food, and a health and wellness vendor expo.

Surplus Austin PRIDE celebration proceeds are donated back into the community via the Austin PRIDE Cares program. Formed in 2011, the Austin PRIDE Cares program has donated over $55,000 to various non-profit organizations and causes!

Friday, September 6, 2013; 12PM-7PM at Work It Personal Training (7817 Rockwood Lane, Austin, TX)
Saturday, September 7, 2013 (Day of Race) at the Start line from 7:00 AM - 8:50 AM. (CASH ONLY)

*Although the color powder is 100% natural and safe, it is possible that it may stain lighter colored clothing. We recommend that you wear clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting color powder on them. The color powder will only be distributed at the Finish Line in the designated Color Zone area. If you do not want to get color powder on you, then you can easily choose to not go through the Color Zone.
