The Austin PRIDE Rainbow Run is a 5K (3.1 miles) race through the streets of downtown Austin.  Starting at the intersection of Riverside Drive and S. 1st Street, the race route will cover two laps leading runners across Lady Bird Lake and up to the 4th Street Warehouse District.

This year's run will finish with a RAINBOW EXPLOSION party at the finish line!  We will show our pride with the best post-5k party in Austin, as each participant will be given a bag of "Rainbow Magic" color powder* and a challenge to see how much rainbow color a body can hold!  The party will also include DJ C-Rail spinning, food, and a health and wellness vendor expo.

Proceeds from the Rainbow Run will benefit various local non-profits, including this year's featured Austin PRIDE Cares beneficiaries: AIDS Services of Austin; Out Youth; Transgender Education Network of Texas; and Equality Texas.

ATTENTION: Online registration closes at midnight on Thursday, Sept 20th.

You can still register the day of the race at the Start line (Riverside Dr and South 1st)

If you want to participate in the Rainbow Color Explosion Party after the race (when you cross the finish line) then wear clothing that you do not mind getting color powder on. The color powder is colored corn starch that is completely safe and will wash off, however on some fabrics there may be some staining.
